My name is Mrs. Girdler and I would like to welcome you and your child into my second grade classroom. This year, second grade will be very interesting and exciting. We will be exploring new themes, learn new skills in academics, and develop a strong educational and social foundation.
I expect students to do their best work, be on their best behavior, and respect each other. Our classroom will work as a community and use teamwork to enforce morals, values, and a desire to learn.
The education of your child is both a privilege and a great responsibility. Working as a team will provide a foundation for your child’s educational and social development. Please feel free to become involved in your child’s education. I have an open door policy and encourage you to be an active member in room 112.
